I am originally from Brighton. When I was young I got my first stitches there. It a was small hospital at the time. I recently was there because my husband had a cardiac procedure performed by Dr Natan. It is now a huge Medical Center. It was the cleanest and most beautiful hospital I have been in. I can’t say enough about this hospital. From the receptionists at the front desk to the valet’s, the nurses, the employees we stopped and asked directions to, and of course Dr Natan I cant say enough about how wonderful this Hospital is. My husband procedure took about 6 hours and we were informed several times how the procedure was going from Dr Natan and my husband’s nurse (who was awesome). When it was over Dr Natan came to the waiting area and told me the procedure was a success. He spent a long time explaining everything to myself and 2 of my adult children. My husband had been seeing Dr Natan in his Lawrence office for about 3 years and his condition got worse and he came to the point that he had to get it done. I can not say enough about Dr Natan. He is an awesome Doctor!!! He has such a great bed side manner and takes his time making sure the family is informed. He answered any questions myself or my kids asked. My husband has been feeling great and I can’t thank Dr Natan and all the professionals we had to deal with. We will forever be thankful.
Recently I had a hip replacement by Dr Werger at St Elizabeth’s Hospital I felt very well cared for from the moment I was in the OR to the time I left (two days) Dr Werger is wonderful and his staff friendly and knowledgeable The nurses were always there before I even needed them I am so grateful to have had a hip replacement despite the unbearable pain It will pass I’m blessed Thank you St Elizabeth’s and Dr Werger and his team
Very simple. They saved my life. Had a big heart attack was too unstable for surgery. They kept me alive in Icu for ten days till I was strong enough for bypass surgery. Was in a total of 2 weeks. But thanks to the entire staff they have I am alive today. I don't have one thing bad to say about any part of my stay.thank you all from my family and i
I got into ER at St. Elizabeth on Sunday evening, September 16th, 2018. The display on the corner of Washington st in Brighton showed waiting time of 8 minutes. On top of that, I called on the way there, to ensure the ER wasn't packed. I've got a sprained ligament in my knee and was in pain. The ER was practically empty when we arrived at around 7.30pm. It took about 20-25 minutes to get attention after I was registered: got temperature and blood pressure checked. After that it took over an hour for a nurse to take us from the waiting room inside for treatment. During the next 2.5 hours I got X-Ray done, got a pair of crutches, 2 ibuprofen pills and saw a doctor, who told me I didn't break anything and need MRI and see a specialist. Everybody was nice and polite. But at the same time, everything took 5 times longer than anticipated. I have a hard time understanding why I was there from 7.30 till 11.30 pm to get an X-Ray done and spend 3.5 minutes with a doctor. Very inefficient.
I had an ectopic pregnancy and the Tufts women center in Braintree didn’t treat me good. Over the phone they said it was a miscarriage. But the pain was worsen and I needed to go to Quincy’s ER. Which I had to be transferred to saint Elizabeth’s. The gynecologist at the time was Dr. Testa. Amazing doctors, and nurses. I stayed there for 3 nights. I got a chance to meet so many nice people. Thank you
I found the staff here to be both friendly and reasonably attentive given the situations they were dealing with. Wait time for the ER was much lower than expected.
I've been taken care over there three times, and I've been treated very well.
Wait time for bleeding stitches is 3 hours. Good luck not dying in the wait room. Edit: Staff were great. Added two stars to the review.
After several trips to a suburban hospital in Norwood. My father was admitted with severe pain in his neck. After a couple days the physicians found a blood infection, dental disease & endocarditis. They treated asap with a strong regimen of antibiotics and kept us in the loop the whole time. Amazing staff ( Dr Sanchez, his resident, Keri, Mary, Eva. The whole crew on inpatient 7th floor..... thanks so much!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
My dad has been here for the past 2 weeks. I can't say enough good about this hospital. The nurses are phenomenal, teams of great doctors have been in and out to check on him and try to get to the root of the problem. If we kept him in the hospital he was previously at I am convinced his life would have been cut short. I am so grateful he ended up here and they are trying to get him better.
St Elizabeth's Emergency Room services are without question, the best I have ever experienced. Even though I live west of Rt 95 along Rt 90, I drive to St Elizabeth on those occasions when a family member needs fast and high quality emergency medical help. Over the 5 years I have been using St. Es I cannot remember a time when I or a family member waited more than 10 minutes before I was seen by a doctor. Moreover, the quality of medical help I and my family have received has been outstanding. My basis of comparison are the four hospitals closer to my home than St Es. I am not easily impressed with high quality service, but this hospital's emergency room services continue to exceed my expectations. They are truly outstanding !
Dr. Cronk- Neurosurgeon is a kind, caring, compassionate doctor. She operated on my mother in December 2017. The surgery was successful. She took her time explaining the procedure before and after surgery. Her bedside manner is terrific. She is always smiling and gives you an encouraging word. Office appointments are on time. Her team was always available to answer any questions that came up before, during and after surgery. In addition, the nurses from pre-op, holding, recovery and on M7 were so kind and attentive. No waiting for a nurse or assistant to take care of her needs. Highly recommend Dr. Cronk, her team and St. Elizabeth's Staff for making this a fearless experience.
I had my bariatric surgery there, the best experience, the best service , very good nurses, and staff. I greatly appreciate it. My Angel Dr Pecquex the best Dr in the whole world. GOD BLESS HER.
So far so good. They are treating my Neice who is in ICU.
Went to the ER last night to get stitches on both my knees. The ER was packed, and the help I needed ended up taking longer than expected (I was there for 6 hours), but the staff was the nicest staff I have ever experienced at a hospital. Every single person I interacted with treated me with care and concern, they explained every single detail of the process to me, and were everything I would hope for in nurses and doctors.
I had a fantastic experience at St. E's Emergency Room. From the nurses to the receptionist, everyone was friendly and got me in and out very quickly!
Ok local hospital but so close to other top Boston hospitals its crazy not to go to better
Our experience with this hospital has been amazing! We chose St. Elizabeth's because of its outstanding advanced cardiac care history for my 82 year old grandfathers bypass (quad) surgery. The critical care nurses are some of the nicest & most knowledgeable I've come across to date! The doctors we encountered here are considered to be some of the best in MA in this field and have definitely lived up to that in my opinion. It's a smaller hospital, yes but the technology they have there is top notch. Sometimes the families must take initiative and inquire specifics about their loved ones (or their own) care not just wait for them (the docs) to come to you with all of it. I know my children and I are forever grateful for being given more time with our grandpa!
I've had pretty good experiences at the ER over the years. They are not the most personal staff, but they get the job done
The staff took very wonderful care od my Husband...thank you.
My mom was there for 4 days and the doctor's and staff were all very nice. My mom always hates hospital food but liked the food there. I'm just grateful she didn't need back surgery. Her nurses aid David was excellent! He was always ready to help her.
